We are happy to announce a very special Extremities Seminar for 2007.

The location is Chicago, IL.  Doctors and students from the central US area have been asking for this seminar to be held there for some time, and we think that the time is right.  This location is also central for both coasts, and can be reached by a short flight to O'Hare Airport.

The dates are August 10-12, with a special schedule to accommodate the traveling of doctors from both coasts.  The seminar will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, so that doctors may travel to the hotel on Friday morning, and end at 12:30 on Sunday, to allow easier scheduling options on the way home.

As with all our Extremity Seminars, this one will include shoulder, upper extremities, hand/wrist, knees, ankle/feet, and extensive soft tissues.  We have many group hands-on sessions including palpation, marking, leg measuring, and thrusting.

We also hope to enjoy a group social event by way of dinner at a special restaurant in historic downtown Chicago.

This seminar will have a very special feature - an afternoon of Dr. Ed Glaser, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, and founder of Sole Supports Orthotics.

Dr. Glaser will have Saturday afternoon to educate us about the anatomy, biomechanics, and  problems of the feet.  He will then illustrate how orthotics can intervene to improve many foot conditions, as well as point out the important differences between types of orthotics.  He will explain the rationale for his new point of view on orthotics.

So whatever you thought you knew (or never learned) about the feet, forget it all!

You will now be enlightened in a most entertaining and enjoyable manner with his lecture, PowerPoint (with amazing proprietary Flash animations), and demonstrations. Everything you never learned at school, simply explained. You will also be able to become certified in his special method of "dynamic foot casting" and obtain your own personal set of orthodics, if you desire.

Those of us in D.N.F.T. deserve to be able to offer the very best in every area to our patients.  The orthotics fit in with our high quality work in the area of extremities, and those of us who are now casting with Sole Supports after the 2006 Advanced Seminar can attest to the superiority of this product.
